Dad has been moved from the Cardiac Ward upstairs to a Medical Ward because his heart does not need the constant monitoring. He still has a private room though and is being monitored for his pneumonia. He probably will be heading home soon. They have him walking the corridors now.

Of course I came down with the flu yesterday morning. I probably picked it up at the Doctor's office Monday and the symptoms only showed up Friday Morning. I think that means I wasn't contagious when I visited. I was careful not to handle anything while I was there and I did make use of the antibacterial gel dispensers at the elevators and entrances to wards and rooms. I hope the flu doesn't last long because of the flu shot I got last fall.

I do feel rotten with a fever and chest congestion and everything.

So if I am less active here that is why.

But I still feel okay. :-) Dad is getting better. I had a chance to visit him before he left. Stuff like that.
