I am very lucky.

Regardless of my other health problems including mood issues like depression, anxiety and OCD I am an optimist. That means that people are okay to have me around even if I am in the midst of a depression and so even though I might be a bit quiet in a corner I can be around friends.

I know there are many who when depression hits find their friends don't want them around.

Of course my depression mostly makes itself known my a lack of energy and motivation. I lose interest in different things. Sometimes I can retain interests in some things, but I wonder if it a matter of OCD keeping me doing them. LOL Well OCD has to be good for something!

I know it keeps me in touch with people as there are some that I phone like clockwork. ...well okay I phone my Mom every day. LOL

I was turned down for disability on the 8th having 20 business days to apply for reconsideration. It took until the 16th before I could get the form from the ministry with their part filled out.

We have snow and ice we don\'t normally have and my diabetic neuropathy in my feet make it difficult to navigate on uneven slippery surfaces. Since snow is so uncommon here nobody clears their walks!

Now I have 12 business days to complete the form and turn it in. It is difficult working through the disabilities I have including anxiety and depression. It is even hard to contact an advocate who might get the process done faster.
I\'ll get it done. But for me to do one important thing, I must let others slide. Of course that does not include bills and rent. THEY get DONE! It has taken me 10 years just to get the original application for disability filled out and turned in.

What do you do when part of your disability is what makes it nearly impossible to get such paperwork done in the first place. If I could do it I wouldn\'t need to do it nearly so badly!

They say everyone has to appeal before the get disability.
