well it's been four days. i made it through this week!!! with only slight amount of (home work.) i took the kids to a wedding today and we had a good time. the kids have never been to a wedding before. so they had a blast!!! as far as me i sat thinking about my wife and how she was doing. she would 'nt go so we left her by her self. i felt guilty the hole time. the kids said they missed her many times so we came home. now i'm sitting here on a saterday night bored out of my mind ,wondering what to do next. so i thought i would write im my journal. and tell every one that i'm so greatfull for the friendships that i'm getting from ds. ds has been a joy to be apart of and i hope that you all are doing well and are happy!!! this weekend.
i will say a prayer for you , god bless!!

Yes, Dont know what I would do without DS either.
Hi Dave, My heart pours out for you and the boys. Next time, tell your wife, she needs to go explain how the boys missed her no matter what condition she is in and that the guilt poured to you...maybe then she will try and get out..It will do her a world of good to get out, even if she hurts then and afterward. Glad you made it through the homework, but just think of all the new things you probably are going to learn..LOL Hope your day goes well, God Bless. LOL
Hi Dave...Taking them to a wedding is a feat I have not tried with my kids...you deserive(sp?) a gold medal for that!!! Maybe your wife could talk to the boys before you have to take them out without her like that next time and explain why she is not going. Just a thought...
I don\'t know what I would do without ds either. You are in my prayerrs and thoughts. You are such a special person to care for your wife, and the children. I\'m proud of you!!
I\'m sure your wife wouldn\'t have wanted you to feel guilty. She would have been happy to know you were having a good time. I know that when I\'m not up to going out somewhere because of the ms, I still want my husband to go. I wouldn\'t want him to miss out because of me. I\'m sure you know that this is probably the way your wife feels also. As I\'m sure you can\'t help wanting her with you and feeling guilty that you are able to go to these functions. It must be difficult on the kids, unfortunately, it will be something they\'ll have to adjust to as well. I have a friend with ms worse than mine and he feels bad because he cannot do many of the things he would like with his 12yr old son and 10 yr old daughter and if he could, he most definitely would. Life isn\'t always easy, but we must look for the gems in our lives because even with all the difficulties we\'ll find many good things too.
You are an inspiration to me to think there are truly guys like you out there. You are an angel. Hugs, Olivea
