life

Life is for the living. Living the good life. Life is what you make it. I don't know what this means anymore. What's the point? I have no parents, no kids, no husband. My body is falling apart. I need to get disability, but I'm too tired to jump through the hoops. I hope this is the lowest I can go; the worst I can feel. My in laws haven't spoken to me in almost 4 months. I'm not good at reaching out. I finally had real love and now it's gone. Don't worry, I'm not going to kill myself. This is the only place I can say these things. You know what I mean... Please God, have mercy on me.

hiskim, I too told myself for many many years that life is for the living. Then my love died suddenly last February. And while I think those words are still true, it is so hard to follow. I\'m sorry you feel down and I can only say that you have company anyway.

Kim, I\'m not so much worried about you killing yourself as much as I\'m worried about you killing your spirit. Kim, grief will eat us alive if we let it. Don\'t allow it to consume you.

You\'re down but not OUT! The pieces that have been left behind are called your life. It\'s going to be what you make it. Please, make it something that at the end of the day you can say you\'re proud of.

Getting the disability you need to survive on is just the beginning of your journey. Go do it......one step at a time.....one day at a time.....just go do it! I know you\'re tired, grieving is so draining. That said, in order for you to move forward in your life you\'ve got to jump through some of the hurdles. The first hurdle is applying for the disability that deserve, after all, you\'ve earned it haven\'t you! Go get what belongs to you and then you can rest!

I wish you energy and strength to complete this project.
