He said, "this is an experiment...this is an experience that we are testing." He said,"I don't know if I can handle this." He said,"No matter what, I want you in my life. You're my friend." He said,"I went to your house because I was afraid to lose your friendship." He's realized that this was too much at once. He doesn't believe that we were arguing like crazy but just trying to find ways to sort out a relationship with me. He's right, but it was too much sifting all at once about our differences that it felt burdensome and draining emotionally. We talked about his space. What he really needs. What I really need. We have to have great understanding about each other if we are truely special friends! Time will tell if we can handle this...The ball is in my court. I control the relationship as a woman for my half. I'm taking it one step at a time. No sex for awhile. No contact with him for awhile. No smoke. I need to clear my mind to focus and be fulfilled.
