Well, I feel alittle better. My internship is going very smooth and the people there treat me nice! I noticed that the "doors are always open" whenever I need help, which is awesome!!! I'd like to work there permanently, once I get the hang of the basics with the administrative tasks that are done there. The thing is, I don't think there's another opening for the type of position I'd like to have over there. The girl that trains me has the position, and I'm basically just a helper. The way she was able to obtain her position was because the girl that trained her last left at her own will, so then she got promoted. The only way I can have her position is if she leaves, but there are other openings for this company from time to time. I'm basically a PR intern, but I've been interested in marketing for quite some time. I'm thinking maybe if I'm not offered a job in PR there, then maybe I can apply for a marketing position. I think I'll just do a really good job and if they don't hire me, at least I have more experience that I can take with me when I apply to other companies.
