Omg, I just found out that througout the time I've been in school, I've taken out way too many loans already for college. If I change my major to design and stay in school for two more years, I'll be oweing more more money and from what the lenders told me, my monthly payment will be very high once I graduate. Shoot, there's no way I can afford that and pay the bills I already have while being financially independent from my mom. Plus, design is a very hard field to break into and could take awhile before I get my foot in the door. What money will I be able to have to pay all my bills till then? No entry-level job is going to help me pay all my bills if I decide to extend my time in college. If I just finish this degree I'm completeing now, then my loan payment plan won't go any higher, and I can afford all my bills by the time I graduate. And even if I don't graduate on time, at least I won't have so many classes to take and I can work almost full-time. So I'm going to have to stick with this major. Not my passion, but I do like it somewhat and I can also get a marketing job with this degree, which is another career path I'd like to possibly pursue. I've decided that I'm going to learn graphic design on my own, as a hobby along with my other artistic activities. As far as the teacher situation, I just have to keep an eye on how he treats me. I'll be having him for another class this semester, which I dread ofcourse, but I have no choice since he's the only one teaching it. I'm still awaiting the appeal from the Dean's assistant, and if it doesn't go through, then at least I can focus on my internship that I'll be starting tommorrow, which I am excited about. I already have my foot in the door in the PR industry, which is something alot of PR students seriously need as this field is so competitive. I'll just stick with it. I know I'll do great!
