I got a letter from the Univ. of Hawaii today...I'm surprised my dad hasn't mentioned or questioned why I got a letter from there...I'm glad he didn't! It's almost like a secret. I don't want to tell too many people that I might be moving there and talking about it all the time and then find out that I'm not!...It happened once and I don't want it to happen again!
The letter said that they were going to foward my transcripts to the communications dept. (my major is Communications) and will contact me as soon as a decision is made...I'm so scared to be honest with you!!...What if I find out I don't like it there?
I wanna move there, but it seems like everything is going good right now in my life...next weekend, I'll be snowboarding with my brother and his friends, I'm taking singing lessons which are so much fun and my friends have been contacting me more often now to hang out with them along with some new friends I made at school and at the meetup!...Yet, I still have this feeling in the pit of my stomach to move to Hawaii and EXPLORE! I would be around a different culture and definitely different weather (it gets mildly humid there)Plus, people in Hawaii talk pidgin, which is kinda hard to understand, but the people in general overthere are so laidback and non-judgemental!...I guess I'm just scared I might be alone there and that knowing the communications program there would take me longer to finish than over here (at UH is 2 and 1/2 years, but here in my hometown, it would take me 1 year to finish from now.
Also, what if I find something about the place that I might not like later on if I decide to go to school there!
I just worry alot...ah! Bad habit I guess! *_*

I think it is great that you have a passion for something and that you have a goal to move to Hawaii and go to school. you are very brave to do such a thing and if you think you would really like to do it then go for it. As they say, you never know until you try. Better to try and know then to do nothing and regret it!!! Good luck with everything!!! I truly hope it works out for you.
It will all work out the way it is meant to, regardless of which way that is. Remember - there are NO BAD DECISIONS, just decisions. Either way you go, you will be learning and growing in your life. It\'s all a process, and there are no wrong ways to do it.
I am THRILLED that you are doing more with your friends and your brother. Little steps turn into huge milestones. you are doing AWESOME my dear! Keep it up!!!!!
Put it in prayer, seeking the Lord\'s guidance, ask for strength for any challenges that you may face, and stay positive, He\'s with you whereever you go. The Lord Bless you!
