Still here

So, being off all the Thyroid meds is as horrible as I have heard about. I go from tired to crying to unable to sit still and back again with no warning.
Also, this being a tight money paycheck, we were not able to do the shopping we needed to do for my new diet. Which means I am doing my low iodine diet on what is in the house - which is not much that doesn't contain stuff I can eat. I feel like a rabbit with a huge bag of baby carrots and my huge bag of broccoli. I intersperce that with chicken breasts, blueberries, grapes, and dry cereal. I am pretty sure I am going to eat one of the dogs the next time it annoys me. So far today I have had apple juice and one piece of corn on the cob.
I have been sleeping about 12 to 14 hours a day for the last few days - and it just feels like it is not enough. I am constantly exhausted.
Today I jumped into an online conversation that I should have stayed out of - it triggered my panic. The panic, though my Service Dog helped me though immediately, sent my back into muscle spasms - and I am in agony. I hate taking this many pain killers, but I hurt too much to sit still and I hurt too much to lay down.
Emotionally, I am mostly numb. It is just easier that way.
In Oct I have an apt with another Dr to talk about my paralized vocal cord. My voice is getting better some days, and some days it is worse. I can talk in human hearing range about 1/4 of the time now.

Oh Yadlim I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling yucky. Try not to do anything that would normally stress you. You are under enough as it is. I can only imagine what it would be like to not take any thyroid meds. I am living through you.........hang in there Lovely Lady!

You are in my thoughts and prayers,

Jeannie
