YAY!
"The gain in self-confidence of having accomplished a tiresome labour is immense."– Arnold BennettLong time no post, huh? Sorry about that! Things have been crazy here. For starters I had my finals which I did very well on which leads me to yelling at the top of my lungs I GRADUATED!!!!!! *struts* Yes! You are looking at a Master Herbalist. Indeed! I hold a Diploma of Master Herbalist. So, after that small accomplishment and after I chewed out my school for that sucky last class I had to take they decided to offer me a class on them FOR FREE due to me being so unhappy. I decided to take a class that would put me on the road to getting my Associates of Science in Holistic Medicine. Thus I spoke with my counselor and I am now majoring in Holistic Medicine and will be completing my classes as money allows. I am so excited about all of this. I am the second in my family (on both sides) to Graduate high school and the First (on both sides) to graduate college- not to mention the only female to do both- and go on to further myself towards a higher degree. Yes, it’s exciting but so bitter sweet. My heart aches because Grammie isn’t alive to see this but I know she knows. My worthless good for nothing family could care less and the only one to really celebrate this accomplishment is just my Husband and I. I have debated calling my stupid father and telling him but the last I spoke with him he blew off everything I told him I was working so hard for. I really don’t need his validation more so then a little rotten part of me wants to rub it in. Ha! I am better then my stupid alcoholic, money borrowing, loser brother who everyone puts on a pedestal cus if they don’t he will bully them and destroy their things until he gets the attention he wants. He is such a damn brat. Alas I digress and I am better than that. I always have been and always will be. I always walk on the side of kindness even when others mistaken it for weakness. At the end of the day I can lay my head on my pillow knowing I did well and through all that no matter what the right thing was done. Really, to me that is all that matters. So, despite my little rotten side I will not gloat though I may just call my dad and tell him just so he knows. Maybe perhaps things might change and he may join me in screaming from the mountains of my accomplishments. Then again I know better than to hold my breath. I hope everyone is well! ~Bright Blessings~Rea
