“I think of life as a good book. The further you get into it, the more it begins to make sense.” - Harold KushnerToday was the last day of Husbands two week vacation. I am sad to see him have to go back to work and be so busy however I think for both our sanity it’s for the best. I spent part of a quiet Sunday afternoon talking to a friend on the phone and doing last minute chores / prep for Sunday dinner. Husband took a trip to the bookstore so he could get a book for the week and so I could get some things done around here without him being in the way. Again today it was unseasonably warm so I kept the windows open to air out the house from the previous cold weather. The breeze felt wonderful blowing in! I managed to get a good portion of studying done, clipped coupons, worked out, read a few chapters in a book I am enjoying, and prepped the lasagna for Kris’ birthday dinner tomorrow. When Husband got home he brought me wonderful gifts! He picked up a book I do not have! YAY! It’s Lady Cottington’s Fairy Album by Brian Froud. Yep…more fairy stuff! LOL I have most of Brian Frouds work of course see as how I am a fairy nut. He also got me this beautiful wax seal set that contains a bottle of gold ink, a murano glass quill, cherub seal and gold sealing wax. That sorta goes with some of the stuff he got me for Christmas. I love doing Calligraphy! :) I of course thanked him over and over. It was so thoughful for him to think about me. All and all today was a nice and most pleasant day. My mood was eh but I managed to work through that to appreciate the quiet, the company of good friends I spoke to on the phone and online as well as the words from a good book! I hope all of you are well! ~Bright Blessings~Rea
