“Difficult times have helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever...” -Isak Dinesen Again I feel like today slipped through my hands and despite getting some things done I feel I didn’t get enough done. I can’t seem to find a balance- a constant- and it leaves me frustrated. I look back on today and think, “where did the time go…did I waste it?” I ponder what I did and realize I didn’t spend my time day dreaming as I usually do but I spent it being sporadic and everywhere. Perhaps that’s why I feel nothing got done- because I didn’t organize my time. Instead of working to finish something I multitasked and got nothing done. Oh well…I ironed a mountain high of Husbands clothes readying him for when he goes back to work on Monday. I still have several garments to go but the iron decided it didn’t want to play anymore so I had to give it a break. Sure enough I will be back to finish that task as soon as the iron decides it has had a rest. (I needed the break as well so I am not complaining! LOL)I straightened the house, went to the grocery store to pick up things for our friends birthday on Monday. I am making a nice birthday dinner for our friend Kris and I am baking him a cake. I already got his gift and wrapped it up nicely with a card. For once I am not doing this last minute- shocking! It was unseasonably warm here hitting about 77 degrees out. I went outside with the dogs and walked the property until the buttheads decided it was “go crazy time” and started straying too far and wouldn’t listen to me calling them back. As of late the lot of them have been acting brain dead with Loki (the Yorkshire terrier) being the sane one of the three. Even Chessie (the weiner dog) has been acting very stupid lately. However, I figure out why…I wasn’t spending enough time with her because I had been so busy. Well, I have time now. Draco (the mutt) is still stupid as ever…who knew he could get worse. LOL Loyal but MAN is he dumb! This weather has me thinking about my garden. Part of me is plotting…taking what I learned last year and resituating things. I need to do some more research on companion planting- especially for our tomatoes. I also want to do more research into flowers that attract fairies. I got this book several years ago that I read cover to cover of a woman who is a Master Gardener who plants her gardens to attract different types of fairies. Silly I know it sounds but I like believing in that sort of thing. I like knowing that there are mythical little creatures out there that are seacrtetely watching us and possibly helping. Like, for example, the brownies, a house fairy that assists you in keeping your house clean longer. Their specialty is battling dust bunnies! LOL However, if you do not thank them for their hard work they WILL hide your keys and other small things. That’s why when you DO "lose" your keys and you swore you put them in a certain place but they aren’t there….the brownies have struck! Haha!  I hope you are well… ~Bright Blessings~Rea
