Greetings All!

Chess (our new member of the family) seems to be adjusting as each hour passes. We took her today to the pet store to get a collar, leash, special wiener dog food, and a cute set of puppy PJs to keep her warm at night see as how it is FINALLY getting cool at nights here. She is lounging right now in them on the futon here in my office.

Little Chess follows me around everywhere I go. I jokingly said to my friend Meg that if I wanted children I would have had them. Chess needs people in her life and she especially needs me around ALL the time. Meg thought all this was great because now I have someone to dote over and take care of. I agree as does my Husband.

When I was working today I put down a blanket on the floor in the kitchen so she could go lie down and not get on my feet. Chess decided instead of that she would go perch herself on the back of the couch and watch me. She looked so cute just sitting there watching me. She wouldn’t let me out of her site.

Last night Husband was joking around and slapped my behind. Chess got mad at him and started barking at him. We laughed so hard that after only one day she was over protective of me. Just in the past 24 hours I have grown so attached to her. Our new bond I think is so much better then any happy pills the doc could give me.

I didn’t have time today to work on my school studies or in my panic attack & anxiety book. I will do those later tonight as I will have more time then. I managed to get a lot of stuff done for work which makes me a head of schedule! YAY!

I hope everyone is well…

~Bright Blessings~
