" Tears are often the telescope by which men see far into heaven." -Henry Ward Beecher I am sooo sooo sorry I haven’t been here these past couple of days. Things have been really busy and hectic around here. I got my workbook I ordered on anxiety and panic attacks in the mail I believe it was Thursday or Friday. I have been immersed in it ever since not to mention balancing my school work on top of that and prepping for the conference. I start production on making everything tomorrow. I am very nervous but excited. Yesterday, Husband was coming out of Petco when a car slowed down and tossed a dog out of it. The little dog ran into the parking lot traffic. Husband went after her to be sure she was ok and to keep her away from the traffic. He found her behind a pillar peaking her head out. He scooped her up and brought her home. She is a wiener dog, looks to be about 3-4 years old, waddles when she walks, has a little chunk of her ear missing from scrappin, has the sweetest disposition, bad breath, sighs dramatically at the perfect times and doesn’t much mind baths. She seems to be a very good little girl. I think I may name her Duchess Fiona…everyone else is calling her…peaches…eff that name!Personally I am not a big wiener dog fan, however, this little girl seems to fit in great with our family of strays. Loki instantly took a liking to her. He even moved out of Husbands lap to let The Duchess have it as she looked so horribly sad. I think what breaks my heart is she keeps going to the door as if to say, “are my people here to pick me up yet?!” Ever since Husband left for work she has been crying. The only time she stopped was when I caught her curled up in a basket of clean clothes behind me. I have tried everything to comfort her including putting down a pillow on the floor and lying with her. I think she is just adjusting to everything. She went through such a traumatic experience and luckily she wasn’t physically hurt however I think her emotional scars will be there for sometime. I told Husband I wish that one time we could have paused life so he could get the plate number of those bastards and save her at the same time. I am pretty angry about what happened to her however I am glad Husband was there. It was almost like the Gods wanted him to be there because he was supposed to get off work early instead last minute he was talked into working late. He wasn’t even going to stop at the Petco but decided to do so to get that errand out of the way. Its crazy how life works…I hope everyone is well…~Bright Blessings~ReaPS I am getting caught up on hugs and journals. If I dont get to you today you will be gotten to soon, I promise! Until then *big huggles to everyone*

Aww i love weiner dogs. That was so sweet of your hubby to rescue her. And for you to show her the attention and love she needs. It\'s such a shame when people just don\'t care about their animals and dump them off like their garbage. I\'m so glad you have her. I have 3 cats and have always wanted a daschund. I hope she gets settled soon. Animals are so precious. Sending love and hugs to you!
