I haven't written in a while.   Last week I started back to work only 3 days a week.  I found myself tired and sore when I got home and did nothing but go to bed.    My daughter is still my life saver running the store 6 days a week.  I don't know what I would have done if she didn't step up to do this for me.  She's been my right arm , shoulder, and strength to get through this.   I LOVE YOU CHONNA!! I had my first real challenge last night.  I was invited to dinner with a group of friends that normally don't get together a lot.  I felt bad about the possiblity of not going because I don't get to see these people very much.   So, I went.   I checked the on-line menu before going to see if there was anything possible for me to order... there wasn't much :-(     Three of the people there (including my daughter) new that I had had the surgery.  The others did not and I don't feel comfortable telling a lot of people yet.    I decided to order a broiled salmon plate that came with mashed potatoes.  I ordered the potatoes with no gravy.   When the meal came I kind of picked at the salmon and potatoes but was afraid to each to much.   One person asked if I was okay and I just said I've been having some stomach issues lately and wasn't real hungry.    About 1/2 hour later I started to feel a little nausas so I excussed myself from the table and went and threw up a bit :-(   On the bright side of the day though, I had to go out and buy something new to wear because none of my tops looked good and just hung on me.   And it was great to see everyone.  Today I'm doing good and feeling great :-) Cindy Starting weight:  383lbs  (Surgery on 8/15)Todays weight:  343lbsTotal loss:  40 lbs (28 days)
