Yesterday was another good day for me. I went to the doctor for my first post-op visit and all is well. He said I'm progress far better than even he expected. Today I am feeling a little guilty. I own my own business.... a small retail dancewear store. I usually work 6 days a week along with my daughter (who is also a full time college student and a dancer). She has basically put most of her life on hold to be able to be at the store full time and run everything in my absence. She hasn't registered for school yet for the upcoming semester because she didn't know how my recovery would go. We have 2 part time employees that I was counting on to be there with her so she'd never be in the store by herself. So, the one scheduled to work today didn't show up and Chonna is alone in the store on our busiest day of the week. I just talked to her and she's trying to get one of her friends to at least bring her lunch and visit so she's got some company. I wish I could be there with her, but I have a least a week before I can return to work for "light duty". I know we'll get through this, she's being such a trouper! Edit: (I forgot to add)Starting weight: 383 lbsTodays weight: 363 lbsTotal loss: 20 lbs (10 days)

I wish you the best. Your daughter sounds like a wonderful source of support. Congrats on the weightloss. Hugs, Vicki.
