What!?
Well so much for being able to have confidence in this hospital unit I'm going to. The therapist I saw on Wednesday was able to give me the appointment time for next Tuesday but she also said they would be writing to me with the details. I've just recieved the letter and it says I've got to complete the enclosed questionnaires and take them with me on Tuesday....well what a surprise....they're not in the envelope. I have great faith in this hospital honestly, I mean, the first thing they do and they've already fucked up! It says there is and 1 hr 1/2 time slot for my assessment and if your late you have less time. So now, if they ask me to complete the questionnaires in the session I hope they're going to rush me to get everything done within the time slot. The letter also says that they will do everything they can to deal with the anxiety this assessment may cause. They've said that if a weigh in is going to be a problem or we want to request an assessor of the same ethnicity, gender etc....that we should phone in advance and they can make adjustments. We can also do the same if we can't make the given date. Well with the letter arriving on Saturday and a bank holiday Monday it's a bloody good job I can actually make this appointment! And what is even more annoying, is it was sent First Class! Which means that because it only arrived today, they must have done everything at the last minute!ARRRGGGHHHH I've phoned the hospital to let them know I wont have the questionnaires on Tuesday and guess what...there is no one there, not even on the number given for out of hours and weekends. I had to leave a message but I'm not expecting a reply. Pissed off....
