I recieved my phone call from my pdoc yesterday. As I thought although he's doing everything he can his end, there's not much he can do until my GP gets back from holiday after Easter. He did contact the hospital and they have told him that yes they do accept NHS referrals but it goes by merit. So basically it'll be up to them if they think my case is worth taking or not. I do have two advantages in my favour though. One is that it is VERY close to where I live which they do take into account. And the other is that because it's technically in the private sector, it will cost the NHS more money so they like to look for a cheaper option, but there are NO other treatment facilities for eating disorders anywhere near me and according to my pdoc, this will be an advantage too as they are more likely to accept my case.So nothing to do but wait till after easter...not a good time to have to wait in either.Goal updateLost a bit more weight but I feel a bit brighter today...although there might be a link there. Because I haven't been eating after 5 o'clock my Mirtazapine's sedative hasn't been kicking in, so now I'm just going to have one of my weight watchers yoghurts before bed. I did that last night and it seemed to work better.
