Hello, smiley-frown.gif
As I sit here typing I'm in rather a lot of pain at the moment.
When I'm anxious I tend to chew the insides of my mouth and tongue A LOT. I'm wondering if this could be another sign of OCD it's that bad. I just can't stop myself from doing it! Having had the nights I've been having recently I've chew it to bits and now I've been left with what I can only describe an ulcerated layer on one side of my mouth going all the way to my back teeth. Which means that my back teeth are constantly rubbing on it....it hurts like hell!!! But it's my own stupid fault. I was going to try gargling salt water tonight to help it heal but when I did it first with normal water, it was so painful that it made my eyes water and I had to swallow it quick. I've just got to wait for it to heal on it's own, they say the mouth is the quickest healer.
So anyway, what did I do today? Ooooo! I actually managed to sleep really well last night. Must have fell asleep between 12:30 and 1am and I only woke up once during the night but fell back to sleep again quickly smiley-laughing.gif! Hope I have the same tonight. Had some weird dreams though but that's nothing new.
Not done much again today, had a nice relaxing bath this morning then fell asleep for about 2 hours again. Played Pokemon Pearl on my Nintendo DS for a bit (yes I'm a nerd I know). That's it really.
I'm off to bed soon, try and get another good nights sleep. Night!

You\'re not a nerd, I\'ve got a DS as well and when it\'s quiet on my nightshift (and when all the work is done) I play The adventure of Link and also that brain training game.
I also am prone to having weird daymares! (nightmares for nightshift workers) I also find it funny that I sometimes bite me lip or inside of my mouth...but I get that trait from my mum who does it as well, just not as bad as you describe the way you do it.

I bite on my lips, which drives me crazy b/c they get all cracked and chapped. So I keep chapstick everywhere an duse it al the time. Try chewing gum, that should help you to not chew on your mouth.

I\'m so glad you got a good night\'s rest!

I do the same exact thing. Right now the inside of my mouth is absolutely raw. I cannot stop it either. I find that I do it when I am stressed, scared, depressed, ect.,too. I have tried a ton of things...no help. It is a good thing that you had a good nights rest though, maybe it will get better.
Take care
