Birthday
Ha, it's my birthday! 56 years today. Happy birthday to me.
We went to the pulmonologist yesterday. 6 month check-up. They did the pft and it seems I have lost 1% of my lung function. Down to 31%. I'm not too worried unless the tests keep going downward. Even then, worrying isn't going to change it.
We did not get my aralast (alpha-1 medicine) last week or this week so far. They send it to our home. It was a snafu with the company. So no infusion, which has given my bruised hands time to heal anyway. But I can tell a difference. Just walking through the house is making me winded. Hopefully we get the medicine soon. Maybe for my birthday? Haha. I love birthdays.
Life is still good. Another day another smile.

Happy Birthday! I\'ll be 56 soon also. I don\'t have any insurance at the moment, so I haven\'t received an infusion for 2 weeks, unlike you , I\'m not doing too bad. I don\'t really like the infusions, I feel that they make me feel worse. but you gotta take the bad with the good, I guess, I do the infusion because I\'m hoping that it slows down the destruction in my lungs.
