Thanksgiving

Wow. That was a week full of family and food and fun! Today is my first day by myself for 9 days in a row. That is quite unusual for me. Not exactly sure what to do with myself . . . although there is definitely plenty to do.
The grandkiddos are so much fun. They just go and go and go. I receive (and attempt to give) unconditional love from the little ones. So priceless. 9 and 7 and 4. The 4 year old is very busy. He's got strawberry blonde curls all over his cute head. Our daughter said that EB told her "You can't stay mad at me Mom, I have curly hair." Which she admitted is very true. The 9 year old is the quintessential big brother, straight A student. What a great kid. He can't get enough of his Grumps attention. Bob is a geologist so we have lots of rocks around. I am a biologist so we have tons of science books. Logan is in heaven when he is here. And Grumps is very patient and really enjoys hanging out with the kids. Rooney is 7. She is quite creative. We color and make stuff when she comes to our home. I love them, each one. And Joni and Jeffer are a joy to watch as they parent these little humans. Yelling does not happen. Lots of exchanging of ideas and information and including of the kiddos in the conversations. Can you tell I am a proud mama?
Our son is doing well at his job. Construction management. Our daughter is also happy at her job and with her new beau. When life is good for the kids, it is good for me.
Big ole smiley face today.
