This morning I was feeling good, relatively speaking, and trying to keep things in prospective. I was up beat and all that good stuff. Then my mind began to drift and thinking about how lonely it will be without her. An empty feeling of what may be. Trying to figure out how I will deal with that. We have been together for 23 years. She’s my best friend; although she may not consider me her best friend anymore. This will be a tough one for me, but one I will face. In time all things change.

Saw your journal and wanted to say hello. I am going through something simular though I don\'t have children. I can relate to your statement about \"best friends\". I feel like I am loosing so much more than my husband but to loose my best friend too is very difficult. Hope things are better.
23 years is a long time...I do know that. My ex was my best friend...that was the hardest part of letting go....I told him everything....then not to have him there was difficult...for a while..in time you feel a bit stronger every day...It is tough because our hearts our so fragile. Hang in there...
Try not to dwell on those things right now - this is not final for you yet right? Focus on fixing this. You still have something to fix! You know its miserable if things go south but that has not quite happened yet so focus on getting her to marriage counseling etc right now. Dont stop trying - NEVER stop trying!
You can not control her. You can only control you. Stop letting your mind jerk you around. Send her peaceful kind thoughts and release these issues to God (the Universe) . Let Go, Let God....and trust wherever your path leads.
That let go let God was a big tuffy forme, but once i finnaly got hold of it. It has changed my life
