I think it will be a long night. I talked to my wife when she got home. Told her how much I believe we can still make this work. I would like to do marriage counseling she said there been to much that has happed to do counseling. She doen't want to go though the pain. Pain... we will be experiencing heart wrenching pain over the next year or two going though divorce and it's aftermath. What is another month or so in trying counseling, by the chance of saving our 23 year together, married 19.  I told her about the pain I'm feeling. This is pain I never felt before. It's worst then the death of a loved one, that has finality, divorce does not.

I can tell you that I feel that pain you are feeling. My ex doesnt at all. She is happy with someone else and I am old news I guess. I pray that your wife will do the right thing and go to counseling with you, I really do! I truly believe that divorce is worth than death. I believe that with every fiber of my being. If there is still a chance you can save your marriage do EVERYTHING you can while you can. I wish I could tell you something to make you fix this but I have no idea obviously what I can do cause I could not fix mine. One day we were doing awesome - the next day she was gone. Divorce is a TERRIBLE thing to go through, especially if you still love the person. I can tell you that my therapist told me NOT to act desperate and beg her for things. I guess that if you do this you give her confidence that what she is doing is the right thing somehow. Maybe try to get your kids involved and go somewhere together as a family for a while? I just dont know what to tell you, this is so awful I wish nobody ever had to go through it. I am here man, I can only listen and relate. There are alots of us going through this pain and it is gut wrenching and terrible in every way. Buy her some nice flowers maybe and ask her to go out on a \"date\". Are you sure there is no-one else? That is what it ended up being for me and I had NO IDEA!
