my friend 'A' and i have been friends since highschool and i love her to death but i can't understand why she does some of the things she does. we'll have plans to go out and she'll ask me what i'm wearing just so that she can make sure she's dressed better than me. if we make plans to do something casual, i'll dress down and then she'll change plans on me and i'm left looking like a shlep while all eyes are on her. i don't know what she's so worried about, i mean it's not like i'm miss america or anything - in fact, i'm one step away from swinging from a bell tower and shouting out 'santuary..sanctuary' - i just don't get it.
