Hi journal,
After giving myself a good talking to, a good pep talk to shake off,
to move out of the sloth I had allowed to develop over the
Christmas period.
I have been doing lots of gardening, my new found hobby and,
interest, and healthy one too.
Walking, I do plenty walking.
I am at my best when walking, in open spaces.
The value of walking should not be underestimated.
Cycling on my newly acquired mountain bike, I love cycling.
It's great fun, there is a need however, to be extra careful on
the road as Perth drivers are not as polite and courteous as
they should be.
With the highlight of my week, yoga classes, beginning again
this next week after the holiday break, I feel I'm doing OK, even better.
My weight is the same now as it was when I was a twenty year old.
With cycling I wobble a bit when looking over my shoulder,
prior to making a right hand turn, to deal with this I fitted a
rear view mirror, which does help.
Be that as it may, I came a, 'cropper' last week.
I fell off my bike, bloody hell.
After a few curses and swearing, a bloody knee, elbow and shoulder,
I remounted and rode off laughing at myself, at the thought,
that the last time that happened I was a little kid.
I am laughing now, as I write this. LOL

I find in wide open spaces. I can move right along. Swing my arms in big strides. Very refreshing. Cycling is very good too. Keep up the good work. Brian
Stewart,
Where was the sloth bit - I missed it? Was it somewhere between the gardening and the walking? LOL ...... Now there is the cycling - I can\'t keep up, I can show you sloth though. Yes, you\'ve shamed me into getting off the couch, still rather sloth like I might add, but I am heading in the right direction at least.
Hope you had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year to you.
