PEOPLE DIDN'T AGREE THE LAST TIME AND,
I CAN RESPECT THAT, AS I DO.
I CERTAINLY DO NOTE EXPECT MUCH CHANGE,
AS I BRING THIS TOPIC TO MENTION NOW.
THE TOPIC I FEEL I MUST BE MISSING THE POINT ON,
NOTICING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE,
WHO EXERCISE THERE RIGHTS TO DO SO,
IS WHY DOES A PERSON JOIN THIS GROUP,
WITH GOOD INTENTIONS AND,
THEN MAKE THEIR PAGE PROFILE ETC PRIVATE.
I MUST BE SO MISSING THE POINT SOMEWHERE.

aliveo, First off, thanks for your offer of friendship. Your question is a valid one, and I\'m sure you have received many varying answers. I use to have a Twitter account and had it public. Reason being, if some old high school or military friends were searching for me. They would find me with less hassles. But the unsolicited inquires from females or calming to be females was so over bearing. It just wasn\'t worth it. So I closed the account. I have a female friend here on dailystrength that sent me a couple friends request to look at that she received from guys she never heard of. She thought they were maybe in the military. So I goggled the guys user name. It come up on failed at romance site or something like that from a foreign country. It was not a a very nice web site. So in a nutshell, I\'m more careful now of whom I choose to see my info. I\'ve been on dailystrength now for awhile and I know of you from topics on the forum. Far too many bad people out there. So that\'s why I choose to keep mine private until I get familiar with the people. Not trying to hide anything. Just being cyber smart. I look forward to communicating with you in the future. Brian
One I can answer quite easily for once Stewart, for me it is to cut down on the ammount of nutters that contact you asking to be your friend. Complete strangers, all men, usually quite young. I would like to access this site for my own benefit and feel safe and secure that I am not leaving myself open to

I most certainly would enjoy to be your friend! I love that fact the Internet makes the world a smaller place. I also enjoy making friends from other countries. It\'s like a living Geography Class. I look forward to future communications. Brian

Stewart, I have never done that you know me once i got on here i poured my soul out to everyone. But for some reason as of late the number of strange (and i do mean strange) people that have been contacting me is out of control. Maybe it is the whole seek out a female thing i\'m not sure, but i do know that I don\'t feel as safe here as I used to. The friends I have made here i am grateful for but I am very leary about friending new people until i see their posts and feel i can trust them. Hope all is well with you Stewie!!!! hugs paula
Sorry made a mess of answering that one! I have a new iPad and I am useless with it. Not painful experience for me, just nuisances.
I think it\'s happening to everyone Paula, I didn\'t use the private tool bar initially either but that left me wide open for all sorts of people, I still get friend requests and I don\'t know why as like yourself I would need to read some of their posts to see if they were ok first.
You don\'t sound your usual self Stewart, why would anyone shoot you let alone hang, draw and quarter you? And why wouldn\'t you just shoot back, the very thing I love most about you is your ability to just say it how it is, maybe because I tend to be quite direct too that I appreciate someone else\'s honest opinion. I can always count on you to give me a reality check, sound input or just a plain kick up the jacksy (as you put it!) all needed and much appreciated!
