Things have really sucked for me lately. I am so tired of all the crap I just want to run away to a nice warm place with just me and my animals. That means NO PHONE, NO COMPUTER, NOTHING TO REMIND ME OF MY CURRENT LIFE. My life (including people on the internet) currently consists mostly of negative, insensitive, uncaring, and selfish people. I am the one who constantly thinks of other people and what I can do to make someone else happy. Can someone tell me how I become a cruel, evil, uncaring, selfish bitch so I can stop being stomped on by everyone? I keep telling myself I need to quit being so nice to everyone but it's hard not to do. I've been this way all of my life. I guess what I really need to look at is the fact that I keep getting hurt in the end. It's a good feeling to help and to give to someone but when they hurt you it just doesn't make you feel so good afterwards. Well, guess that's all for today.

I\'m sorry you\'re feeling that way. And I hate to tell you, but there is nothing you can do to become a cruel, evil, uncarring, selfish bitch...you\'re one of the good guys. When we open ourselves up not only do we receive love from other people, but sometimes we receive the negative also. I hope you\'re feeling better soon. (((hugs)))
:( huney, i dont know who this is referring to, but im so sorry to hear it, :( not everyone is like that :( some plp are actually true, genuine friends, i hope you find all of these plp, and forget about the others, love you much
(((hugs))) Im sorry to hear you are feeling bad today :( Be gentle with yourself! It bites when we hurt, but be proud of your kind, nurtuting self. You cannot harden like that. be true to yourself and embrace your kindness!
God, don\'t change. What will people like me do without people like you to make us feel better? You are exactly right!! You are a giver. Here\'s a little secret for you, it IS appreciated even if it is not always reciprocated. A belated thanks for being there for me in the Ups and the Downs! Margie
You can\'t change your nature and not be a giving person. What you can do is try to do some things for yourself. It is not selfish to put yourself first sometimes. I struggled with this concept as I was always giving and somehow lost myself in the process. A very wise friend pointed out that I am no good to anyone else if I don\'t take care of myself first. Instead of trying to change, point some of that kindness to yourself! Good luck.
Linda...I love you just the way you are and I appreciate the caring person that you are. Don\'t be so hard on yourself. Evil bitches must be so terribley unhappy with themselves!
Dear Linda, I really know how you feel. I am age 79 now and still feel the way you do at times. I think the more you do for siblings the more they resent you for it. They have the attitude if you got it, you share it, but if I got it, I keep it!! I am the middle of five children. Everyone of them had lived with us at one time or another. And we spent more money on my mother than all of them combined. But according to them I am the black sheep of the family, my dear husband is a ner-do-well, even tho he worked at one job his whole life and retired better off than any of them.
They were all alcoholics, including my husband but he sobered up and went in AA thirty years ago and my two older brothers died drunks, the ones alive still drink. Thank God I am alergic to alcohol.
I envy you your pets! My little dog died last spring and I can\'t have another now as I just don\'t have time for it. But I plan on getting one later on. They do not criticize!!
I have to echo Hazel. My life is very similiar to your right now. I told my family I am checking into a hotel tonight, having a bottle of wine brought to my room. don\'t call me cause my phone will be off. They all drive me f ing crazy!!the only joy in my life is my new puppy. He is a german shep and very playful Keeps me going.
Oh babe, I\'m so sorry to hear this! Wish you could come visit me and Cathy here in St. Louis! Don\'t worry, all the good you do will come back to you, guaranteed! xoxo
About trust in people. I\'m 60 and the only thing I know to believe in for sure it Mom. I wouldn\'t take a Mom\'s job in life for all the tea in china.
Thank you for all of your wonderful comments. I feel so weighted down most of the time I can\'t hardly breath! I feel like Linda Blair in the Exorcist where her head turns completely around!
