Doing better
Well it's been 6 weeks now and I am still hanging it there. I have learned alot in these past weeks. I am Geno type 1 and I am taking interfon-pegasas and started vitrellis at week 5. All of this I will be taking for 48 weeks. My first time around which was 13 years ago I was a partial responder and went off treatment around the 8 month mark. I also have slight liver damage and hope that this treatment will help to repair some of the damage that I have done to it over the years. When I first started treatment I was scared to death how my family and friends were going to react. So far my family has been awesome especially my husband. Work has been pretty great as well. I am know on a three day week and will do this til treatment ends. Hopefully this will help me to complete the treatment. I now have the attitude my health first and everything else second. I am not a selfish person but now realize this is how it has to be. I worried at first about doing dishes laundry and all that other insignficant stuff. I some found it will get done. Maybe not when I want it to be done but it does get done. As for the dust bunnies, well if you don't like it don't come over!!!! This is difficult for me cause I am just a little of a clean freak. lol I do have a couple of questions for anyone out there. Is my treatment what you refer to as 3tx? Also is there any Canadians on this site? Not that it matters just curious. Have a great day everybody and my prayers are with each and every one of you.

It is so good to hear that you are doing better. You have the same attitude about it being more important to heal yourself than making sure there are no dustbunnies! I am hoping that the triple meds work for you.
I am here for upi!
Thank you irishgal1
I\'ve met several Canadians here.
