So...
Almost three years after my last lap surgery for endo, the pain has returned and is worse than it was. I saw a nurse today and had a yearly checkup done, then discussed my history. Once I mentioned having pains that may signal endo is back, she said she'd get me in to see the doctor.
Another surgery might be happening. I've got enough scars on my torso to play connect-the-dots when I'm bored.
At this point, with the bad cramping every cycle, the endo pain, the infertility...I'm ready to have all my indoor Lady Plumbing taken out. Maybe this is a bit dramatic, but I am so sick of this. Heck, when I was a teen dealing with dysmenorhhea I wanted it all taken out.
And, silly me, when I had my last lap done, I thought that "inactive endo" meant that it decided to jump ship, and didn't even know what adhesions were. I tricked myself into thinking this was all done, but my body told me I was being silly.
Ah well, at least because of this, I'm able to better empathize with others who have invisible illnesses.
