It doesn't look like I am going to be able to keep my job.  I haven't been unemployed since I was 14, which was 30 years ago.  I have both short and long term disability insurance through my employer, but I imagine I have plenty of paperwork obstacles to overcome.  It isn't awesome that I am going through a split from my STBX during all of this.  I don't even know where to begin, B R E A T H E.  It will all work out, right?  I need a vacation.  I wish I had a friend that lived  in a vacation destination who could hold my hand during my first trip solo.  Wow, almost every part of my life has been impacted by my mixed connective tissue disease.  I really do need a break.  I might just take a flight to anywhere.  Kansas isn't exactly a hot spot right now.
