Update
Figured I'd write as I haven't been here for a while. Been dealing with a mystery foot problem. Once I decided it was time to have it looked into it was time to get ready for my cataract operation. That was Monday and all went well. Patch off Tuesday. Cloudy vision cleared Wednesday. Called for appt about my foot. Doc looked down at my foot in shoe and asked me to point to where it hurt. I did. He said "Probably as spur; my wife had one of those." I said I needed an x-ray and he said their's is broken. So tomorrow I drive to the next town which has a working one. I've been in bad pain from this foot for two weeks now. Am so looking forward to having it fixed. What are the odds that will happen? Getting a bit frantic with all the little things that I'm letting slide because it hurts too much to be on my feet. Oh well, this too shall pass. Got to reignite my attitude of gratitude. Things could be worse, and many things are good. I am thankful for all my good friends here on DS and on FB - (((HUGS))) to you all! Jan

I understand foot pain. I\'ve dealt with ingrown toenails. Only thing worse is a toothache!! Good luck and God bless!!! : )
Good luck with your foot problem:-) My hubby probably needs cataract surgery. How long was it until you could bend over? Just wondering, as he has to bend to lock & unlock his leg brace.
Love & hugs,
Lois
Thanx for the good wishes. I\'ll post more if I get some answers. Lois, I have instructions to not get the head below knee level at least until the one week checkup. I\'ve been cleaning the kitty litter while sitting on a stool. The nurse said that would be okay. Don\'t know how it would work with a leg brace. Best to check with the doc. Good luck. Jan
Glad to hear your cataract surgery went well and hope the foot goes well too. My SIL had a spur and tried orthodicts, but ended up with surgery. Maybe you will get off with the orthodicts. Sharon
