If--no--when I tackle one of my biggest problems of distraction, I will have alot to do. I seem to get motivated and start a regimen of positive behavior and habits only to be met with some level of outside distraction and my regimen is put behind the proverbial backburner. I must somehow exercise much more discipline with myself despite the "old (bad) habits die hard" mentality. In the morning I pledge to wake up when my alarm tells me to (given maybe one snooze--just to be realistic) and eat breakfast and take some time before hauling to work. I will take a positive attitude with me and be as efficient as possible (Im waitstaff so I hope to work up a good 'bank' if we're busy). And I will be as productive as possible with my time in the evening and NOT put off reading my class assignments as Ive been so bad about lately. I will start getting to bed earlier as I have been paying for my improper sleep habits with mental fatigue and all around cognitive dullness. By the grace of God (who I need forgiveness from for my bouts of anger at him) I will have the ability to have this productive day tomorrow. May He watch over my loved ones and may He bless all of you here. I'll let you know if I use that self-discipline tomorrow or if I totally crap out and listen to the "silent" part of my brain--the part that tells me NOTHING!!! I made a pledge here so Im thinking that that will influence my adherence. Its time for me to start using my brain again as opposed to basically reacting from the spinal cord!!!!! Im very sleepy (there's a SHOCKER) so goodnite, and hopefully-goodmorning.
