Feeling down

I'm feeling a little depressed today.  My husband is getting on my nerves (he has Parkinson's).  I pray to be patient and tolerant but sometimes it doesn't help.  I get impatient with him as he is so slow in everything and his drooling and coughing and spitting is hard to take.   I should be thankful that he is not bedridden but sometimes I just wish I was somewhere else.

I\'m feeling down today. My daughter with BP is so sad as her medication (risperadone) has taken away her personality and any hope of a social life (she is 31 yrs old). She e-mailed her doctor telling her she wants off this medication (she has already reduced the dosage twice). She said that anything is better than this feeling. It makes me feel so bad. All I ever wanted was for her to be happy. Before she was diagnosed, I didn\'t understand why she was so angry all the time and now she is not so angry but she is so sad. Prayers are needed for my beautiful daughter who just wants to be normal.
Thanks!

Hello, I know all too well how you feel about your hubby. My husband suffered a massive stroke and is nothing like the man I married 40 yrs ago. He spends 90% of his time in his wheel chair and I have to do EVERYTHING by myself. Life as I knew it changed overnite forever ! I have to help him with everything and he hates to be washed up .

I also have 3 grown children, all married and I am the one they call about all their problems....some days I feel like running away !

Hang in there ! I hope you are feeling better !

Hugs, Gwen / Patricia ( my real name ) :-)
