I have had my new leg for five weeks and in the last two weeks,had pain in two areas in the socket. The tip of the tibia bone and on the outside of my stump at about the half way point. I have tried every combination of sockage and no help.I see the prosthesist tomorrow, so maybe she can help resolve this.

If you keep the pin system sometimes if you have a spot that is hitting or banging on the socket you can have your prosthetist actually cut out that part of the socket. only benifit of the pin system is that it can have holes in it.
April did cut out a circular piece over the tibia and heated and reformed the liner so it doesn\'t hit as much. It works much better now; as long as the right combination of socks are used.
