phew!
my last journal entry was written on a BAD day! i was tired, discouraged, frustrated, etc. fortunately, my days since then have been a lot better. my grandmother has good days and bad days too and mine are definitely linked! one of the hard parts about dementia and living with a senior citizen is that they don't get better, they get worse. but there are ways to deal with it and sometimes you just have to roll with the punches, so to speak. i'm getting more help and that's a relief. :) the thing to remember, for everyone, is that it's okay to have a bad day, to get frustrated, to feel tired and sad. it's part of life. the key is to not let it get you down permanently and to push through and do what you need to be happy and feel better. :)

You are exactly right my friend. We all have our BAD days, that\'s because we are only human. Alot of people don\'t have to deal with what we caregivers deal with on a dailey basis.
The key is DEFINITELY not to let it get you down for long. I\'m happy to hear you\'re getting more help. It makes all the difference.
Thanks for sharing your journal today. Hugs, Patricia
thanks Patricia! :)
