I'm starting to feel better. It has been a long hard road. After a full right knee replacement and a six month treatment for hep c, I thought I was fully recovered until I started getting some leg pain. Dr finally puts me on lyrica for approximately6 months and with all the side effects it nearly put me in a seniors residence with dementia and the leg pain became worse where I was full bed ridden for nearly a year. Its been two years now and I've endured incredible nerve pain from spinal stenosis in my spine. A buildup of calcium and scar tissue that has built up from being so sedentary due to the lyrica. It affected my muscles in my legs, throat, eyes, mouth, back, etc. i'm at a place in my life where I could enjoy myself and I am suffering every day with this pain. I am on painkillers24/7. Its depressing and I alternate with a maintenance dose of 10-20 mg of amitriptyline to keep me sane.
