Feel AWFUL! UGH!  I've been ok for a week or so, then BAM! Asthma hit like a ton of bricks.  Well at least we 'think' its asthma.  It sometimes starts as either Fibromyalgia or Asthma then starts the other one!  The tight feeling around my ribcage, starts me to have trouble breathing.  Its like a vice grip.  I can breath, but it takes effort.  I try some 'deep breathing' and sometimes it eases up the tightness, sometimes not.  I've been taking the nebulizer (which is supposed to be 3-4 times a day), 2 -3 for the last week or so, now its up again.  Even with the Xopenex, I get the shakes.  I was also tapering down on my prednisone since it was upped to 60 a couple of weeks ago because of my asthma, and when I started down to 20, it started again, so now its up to 40.  Of course I still feel like crap.  I think it started with the rain and cool down from 80something degrees to 58.  Problem is, its getting warmer and I know any change in weather hits me.  I have a dr. appt. today with reg. dr. since my pulm, took off on vacation for 2 weeks, and his associates are worthless.  I don't know if all this pain is the asthm, the fibro, or my thyroid.  I read that the thyroid can also cause all the problems I'm having , and I'm not on anything for it, since the last mishap of putting me on a new med and 2 other meds for asthma at the same time causing palpitations.  So we'll see.  I just hope I feel better soon, I can't stand it!smiley-cry.gif
