The re called me yesterday and said my blood work showed 2 mutations of MTHFR. I don't really know what this is. If you know or find anything let me know. Thanks!

i also have two mutated genes. basically our bodies are over producing tiny blood clots which have no effect on us but on a fetus that is trying to attach or feed or live off of us the clots can be harmful. i found out i had these mutations last summer when i had mc #2 at 5 weeks. i have not gotten pregnant since then but i have been taking a baby aspirin and a prescription prenatal that is meant for women with the mutated genes called Neevo. i just recently started lovenox shots which is a blood thinner. these are injections that you give yourself in the tummy. i am no expert on MTHFR but if you have any questions i am here! we are currently in 2ww after our second IUI....hopefully i will get a BFP soon.....
