moving on

Work is tough this week, but I have a new assignment that should be fun. I just need to wrap my head around starting it. Meantime, I'm actively looking for other work. I applied yesterday to a job at IBM, which is considerably closer to work for me. I don't want to change jobs until after I have my surgery (this fall) but I'll do what I have to for sanity. In talking to my therapist today, I realized that I have a lot of anger issues with my employer. The way they ripped benefits out from under parents in 2010, the way they treated my team when our manager died, and the way they have treated the handicapped employees in my building for the last few years. This anger undoubtedly adds to my stress without me even being actively aware of it on a regular basis. Therapist agrees--I need to leave. Hallelujah. Now to get that job. Good thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.

Yes, I will pray that all that is bitter will be sweet for you (Prov. 27:7) and that you will find favor with your potential employer. I know you are on a forgiving path, but sometimes forgiveness requires a bit of space so that the offence isn\'t constantly in your face. Many blessings.
