145.2 lbs this morning. holy crap. i love when i hit the 5 lbs marks and even though i'm .2 over it i dont care. i cant believe i'm finally getting back to where i was and where i want to be. my plan is all coming together. i'm binge-free, i'm losing weight, and i'm soon to be on the move. i'm so happy i'm in such a good place before i move too cuz i dont want things to fall apart once i get there. i'm sure i'll have a journal or two about my move once it gets closer....2 weeks until i'm out! ive heard some people talk about things they've read that have helped them through their ed and i wanted to share with you all 3 books that have helped me....one is by an author who seems to be well known to people around this site and it informational while the other two are memiors...i really enjoyed the two memiors."Breaking Free From Emotional Eating" - Geneen Roth"Confessions of a Reformed Dieter" - A.J. Rochester"Food and Loathing" - Betsy Lerner (my favorite)so i suggest you try these out if you're looking for a new book to read.one last thing. i wanted to thank everyone for their words and support. its so nice to know that i can be an inspiration to others because i've never thought of myself as being like that. at times i've felt bad boasting about all my accomplishments with my ed while others here are struggling so bad and are at their worst. i was always afraid i would just make people feel bad about where they are at. but now i know thats not true and ya'll are now motivating me even more to keep this up so i dont disappoint you! so thank you so much!!! i love you guys

Good job! Binging is such a hard habit to break... you really are an inspiration though! It helps to know that other people have been through the same thing, felt the same way, and gotten through it. Thanks for your support, and good luck with the move!
Glad to hear again about someone recovering. How long after the binging did it take you to finally start loosing some weight. I feel like one screw up with me, even if it\'s just eating a little too much, really messes me up and puts me back at square one.
keep up the success!
well done! dont feel bed about your success, its the reality that this can be done that is the sort of thing that keeps me going!
thanks so much for the kind words you left on the bottom of my journal entry. i really appreciate it.your dong a really good job!.its sooooo hard to break the binging - harder than the purging even because the hwole thing about our e.ds is that we love to loose control around food momentarily at least and your doing so well -it really means your back in control of your life and holding the reigns and taking responsibility and being really sensable which is a pretty arduous task given where youve come from. so well done from me, and hope to see lots more progress where that came from so keep on keeping on!.
and thanks heaps for the tip with the books -im thinking about going to the library tommorow and tracking them down.
Your journal is such an inspiration to me. I can\'t wait to be back where you are. I can\'t tell you how much reading your story is helping me- thank you! And, most importantly, well done! You should be so proud of yourself
WOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I love it! Eating well and losing weight! You give me hope!

Great job!!! It\'s so hard to stop binging. I just ate 4 cookies at work and I really wanted to eat some more. And then I started thinking about all the other things I wanted to eat today. But then I read this post and I gave me hope. I want to stop binging and so far it\'s only been 5 days. But now I want to continue to not binge and eat heathily and not let some slip-ups completely let me loose control!
Yay this is such exciting news for you - i am so happy everything is going well!!!
You are fantastic!! I\'m so pleased you are in such a happy place - you deserve it you\'ve worked hard and achieved so much- you go girl!!!!
Fantastic to see you so happy and positive about everything. Its so hard to kick this habit or whatever this bingeing really is and you are working so hard and deserve to feel proud of yourself and happy. Your strength is an inspiration for me to keep going, knowing that I want to feel like you do now! Keep up the good work - you rock!!
Don\'t feel bad about your success or posting it on this site...we all need to be aware that it is possible!
