i ate a whole bunch of french fries and sweet potato fries at work tonight. i told myself a few weeks ago i wouldnt eat them anymore but i was hungry and there were extras made so i ate them. it was very far from a binge, more like a bad decision because i could have eaten something much healthier and i was afraid i was going to go over my calorie goal for the day. luckily i didnt go way over, i finished the day at 1800 cals so it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. but still, i wont be eating that crap at work anymore. i hadnt done it for a long time and i tried to ease myself back into it today but i just feel i'm better off without them. of course, after i had eaten them my mind went back into habit-mode and i began thinking about eating a mochi ice cream ball. when i would binge at work it would always be on fries (sweet potato or regular), mochi, and wonton chipsĀ amongst other random things that were on my mind that day. so i battled with that thought tonight for a little while and decided it was not needed and i'm also a little afraid of not being able to stop at 1....because 99% of the time i'd go for oneĀ i would have 2 or more. instead, i just came home and had an ice cream sandwich and now i'm good for the day. french fries used to be my favorite food but i feel they no longer are....i wonder what's going to take their place!

I have had a similar experience recently. I have felt yucky, and turned to food for comfort... only to find that it I don\'t really have the heart to binge anymore. Biscuits are the only things that are still potentially a trigger. But the fact that you were able to rationalise your desire for fries shows that your were well outside the binge-haze!
I agree, when i was really at my worse i used to go to the shop look at all the things i binged on in the past - chocolate, crisps, cakes etc and not really want them because i had ate them in excess i was bored of them and end eating things like bakewell tarts or something different that i really was\'nt that keen on. Anyway enough about me. Glad you had a good day and came away strong, you should be proud of yourself. Your doing so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Day for you, my friend. keep it up!
