ooooooooommmmmmmmmgggggggg! this was seriously the worst day at work ever!!!! even worse than all thse days i binged before and/or during work. seriously, two of my worst nightmares happened, i'm not even kidding. first of all, we had no computers from 7:15PM until about 8:30PM and if you dont know how awful that is then i will continute to explain. we had people who needed to pay so they could leave and we couldn't take their payment or even tell them how much they owed. we had tons of people waiting to sit but couldnt not sit them until the people who cannot pay leave and we cant take any orders either. if i had it my way, i would have just closed the restaurant but no, we cant do that. instead, we had to hand write orders and then figure out with a calculator how much people owed, figuring in tax, and thank god no one needed to pay with a credit card or else we would have had to get out the old fashioned manual swiper. it was awful and then i had some customers who said they understood but they still got a little impatient....so of course i had to get stern with them and i didnt give a shit cuz there was nothing i could do about it. so without blabbering on more about this situation, and trust me i have so much more i could vent to you all, i'll move on. the second worst nightmare is that i pick up a shift for someone and something goes entirely wrong. well, originally i was supposed to work 1130-5 and i switched to do 1-9. had i left at 5 everything would have been ok but nooooooooo, shit went down, and i wasnt even supposed to be there!! son of a bitch. i'm just so glad to be home and its all over but i'll tell ya, i was seriously on the verge of tears not only because they whole thing was so stressful but also cuz since we were moving things along so slowly, we didnt have as many tips coming in as we would have and i didnt make nearly as much as i would have on a typical sunday 1-9. friggin annoying. ok enough of that. on a good note, one of our customers early on in the day brought in some goodies and my co-workers were all over them. one of them couldn't get over how awesome they were and told me "you haaaaaaave to have one" and i looked at her and said "i dont haaaaaaave to have anything", and didnt. they wanted them more than i do anyway so i just let them eat them all. the funny thing is that people really dont care if i dont want any. they may try to peer pressure me into it for like a second and then be happy later cuz its more for them! i know one bite wouldnt have killed me and it wasnt like i could have binged on them anyway but its still a principle for me. i said no and felt good about it. of course, i came home and had two ice cream sandwiches instead of my usual one but seriously, after the day i've had i deserved an extra treat....and it fit into my daily cals anyway, i finished the day right below 1700. so onto the next 2 days. i'm a little nervous cuz i'm leaving early tomorrow and will be returning late tuesday night cuz i have to go down to LA and look at apts. i'm nervous about what i'm gonna eat during the drives there and back, atleast 6 hours each, i'm nervous about what i'm going to eat while i'm down there cuz i have no idea what is there, and i'm nervous about what i'm going to eat/drink while i'm staying at my friend's house overnight. luckily i've been doing really well for a while so i can relax and not worry so much about it but i'm still a little anxious. i just need to remember all the things i usually tell myself when i think about bingeing or eating shit. maybe since i know i'll probably be drinking with my friend i can use that as an excuse to not eat crap and save more room for liquor or whatever. its just so much easier for me to eat healthy when i'm at home or work cuz i just east the same things all the time. i know its not good and i should eat a variety but when i find things that work i like to stick with them until i get sick of them. i guess you could say i get myself stuck in a food rut. so when i'm not eating at home or work i get a little anxious about what i'm gonna east and how many calories i'm going to intake. i get stuck in routines,  what can i say. lets just hope i get through my time away without any huge mistakes taking place. have a good couple of days everyone!!!

Ok, I was a waitress for years! it is SUCH a stressful job and i know exactly how the customers were and what a stressor!! But you made it!
And as far as a food rut, when i was at my lowest weight and not binging, i had a strict schedule and routine. i ate the same food at the same time EVERY DAY! FOR YEARS!! I completely isolated to do it. i think the routine is good, but i went overboard. hope you have a great time in LA and can relax and enjoy it.
