i can't wait until i live alone. i can't stand living my with my roommate. when she comes home its like i automatically get into a bad mood. all she's good for is not-knowingly help me not binge...but that's only because having anyone around would do that. i just want to live alone again. part of me is afraid of not having a person to keep me from eating more but i think that the pros will outweigh the cons. she asked me the other night "will you miss me a little bit?" and i said "yes, a little bit" and she said "a lot?" and it was so hard for me to say yes cuz i knew i was lying but i had no choice but to say that. we have about 6 weeks left together, she's my "best friend", and i didn't need to get in a huge thing with her. i just need to suck it up and get through it. if i wasn't still resting my stupid ankle i would be at a class right now but since i'm stuck sitting here unless i have to work, i have no way to get away from her. instead, i just write in this journal about how much i can't stand her anymore to avoid talking with her....which usually leads to an argument about something cuz we always have differing opinions about things and no one ever wins. it seems like the only time we really get along is when other people r around cuz they agree with me and its then two against one instead of just me against her so she shuts up and realizes how stupid she sounds. i can't wait to move, get a new best friend, and be able to spend a majority of my time with someone i actually like and look forward to spending time with. i think i'd be overall happier too and maybe that will help with my addiction since i believe the happier i am the less i want to binge. Things I'm Looking Forward To That Will Help My Addiction:living alonenot living with my current roommatenot working in a restaurant anymorenot working in a job i'm soooo overbeing able to dance moreliving in a sunnier, warmer placea new adventure Things I Need To Keep In Check:not having someone around to not-knowingly stop me from eating more (hopefully i'll still being doing as well as i am now)not being able to walk everywhere (automatic exercise)driving more....more chance for drive-thrus, convenince stores, etc. (stay away!!!)not having close friends right away (i will get some...be patient)having fun new foods and places to eat (i'l be there awhile and will have plenty of time to try them all out....no need to get to all of them in the first week)
