Happy birthday to me :)
It's my 30th birthday today and before all of this happened I imagined myself in a completely different place! Happy and getting ready to care for my first son. Even after all that has happened I'm thankful for all that I have and am staying positive today. I'm so thankful I have such a loving and supportive husband who has gone out of his way to make this day be as good as it can be. I don't have my son to hold but I do have a husband who I can share memories of my son with. He was such a beautiful boy and I'm sure he is proud of his mommy for being so strong and positive.

That is so sweet of your husband to try to make it a good day for you, all things considered. My birthday was in January (first since our loss) and it was hard but I agree that having a supportive partner makes all the difference. We were able to talk about our daughter and share those memories together, which was really all I wanted to do on that day. Your son would be glad you were able to have as good a day as you could, and for being so positive. Hugs to you!
