HELLO, JUST CHECKING IN WITH EVERYONE. IT'S BEEN A CRAZY WEEK. LAST THURSDAY OUR VAN BROKE DOWN AGAIN. WE HAD ANOTHER CAR OUR SON WAS DRIVING THAT BIT THE DUST AND HAD TO BE JUNKED. SO FOR A FEW DAYS WE HAD NO VAN OR CAR. NOW WE JUST HAVE THE VAN. OUR SON WILL EVENTUALLY GET HIMSELF A CAR.
THE VAN HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE LAST 3 TIMES. THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED BUT NEVER FIXED ENOUGH SO IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. WE TOOK THE VAN TO A DIFFERENT MECHANIC. THIS ONE WORKED ON THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT SO IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. HE ONLY CHARGED US HALF THE HOURS. THAT SAVED SOME MONEY RIGHT THERE. LOL! THINGS ARE GOING PRETTY GOOD WITH THE VAN RIGHT. LUCKILY WE HAD FRIENDS THAT GOT US AROUND AND WE WERE ABLE TO BORROW A VEHICLE FROM OUR LANDLORD FOR THE WEEKEND. WE'RE BLESSED WITH OUR FRIENDS AND LANDLORD AND LANDLADY. THEY'RE GREAT WHEN WE NEED SOMETHING.
OUR GRANDDAUGHTER TURNS 13 ON FRIDAY THE 13TH. HER PARTY IS SATURDAY. WE WILL BE GOING TO HER PARTY ON SATURDAY. WE WERE HOPING OUR SON WAS COMING UP WITH HUNTER BUT HE JUST WENT BACK TO WORK-HE'S A TEACHER. ALSO THEY'RE TRYING TO SELL THEIR HOUSE AND BUY A NEW ONE CLOSER TO HER PARENTS. HER MOM WATCHES HUNTER AND IT'S BETTER IF THEY LIVE CLOSER. ANYWAY THEY HAVE TO DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO. I TOLD HIM I HOPE WE SEE THEM BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES. LOL! WHO KNOWS.
THETEMPERATURE IS CRAZY HERE. LAST TWO DAYS IT WAS IN THE 90'S THEN BY FRIDAY IT'S GOING TO BE NOT EVEN 60 DEGREES. IT'S JUST CRAZY.

I\'m sorry to hear about your vehicle problems, but happy that you have the van fixed.
It\'s too bad that Hunter will be living further from you, but at least it\'s not out of the country like our son.
My mother-in-laws birthday is on the 13th too, she will be 92 & my brother\'s fiance\' is turning 90 the same day

Chris, your journal brought back many pleasant memories, and made me smile! In the past I used to help out my 2 older children with transport. Today I\'m depending on them for transport. Lol! Yes, having transport problems is a huge disruption and frustration! For the past 3 months my older daughter and I are still starting \"our\" car with a screw driver, because we can not afford to buy a new ignition switch. Hee-hee! But I\'m so glad that you have such wonderful people who are prepared to help you in your hour of need.

I\'m glad you were able to get your van fixed. Nothing like not having a way to go. Happy Birthday to your granddaughter. I am expecting a grandson on the Friday the 13th and his name is going to be Jason. lol. We have a young lady at church that is turning 13 this Friday too. She is all excited because she is having a party on Friday the 13th and she is 13. I hope you enjoy the birthday party.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR COMMENTS. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY ABOUT VEHICLES IS YOU CAN\'T LIVE WITH THEM AND YOU CAN\'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM. LOL! I JUST FEEL SO BLESSED FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS WE DO HAVE AND ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS WE HAVE IN OUR LIVES.

I hear ya on the vehicle issues! We have had so much go on with our car it is NOT funny - LOL Being w/o transportation is awful, been there and done that one too.

THANKS FOR COMMENTATING. YES WE\'VE BEEN WITH AND A VEHICLE AT TIMES. LIKE I SAY YOU CAN\'T LIVE WITH A CAR AND ALL IT\'S PROBLEMS AND IT\'S NOT EASY LIVING WITHOUT A VEHICLE. ESPECIALLY WITH MY HUSBAND\'S HEALTH PROBLEMS. WE LIVE ABOUT 20 MILES AWAY FROM THE HOSPITAL.
WE WILL ENJOY 6 OF OUR 7 GRANDKIDS. HUNTER WON\'T MAKE IT BUT HOPEFULLY WE\'LL SEE HIM AGAIN SOON. YES GRANDKIDS ARE THE GREATEST.
