Vacation

Hubby went back to work yesterday. My definition of "vacation" might be my most radical change in the 17 years since I stopped working for a paycheck of my own and took up full-time housewoofery. As a housewife, my job kicks into high gear when anyone in the family is taking time off. Even now, with an all adult household, having family around means my projects go into familius interruptus. At present, none of my projects have the solidity to withstand it. Regardless of past glories, my current life is an echo chamber. The seeds of new projects arenae finding sufficient soil to take hold.
One of the echoes repeats once more: fill that volunteer slot.
I think my light phobia is still too much in control for any of the projects to turn the stars back on. Finances still prohibit the return to the Mississippi River project.
There are tons of local watershed projects. I even know some of the human players. I have hiked at least portions of most of the watersheds. I was even paid to do CAD work on several.
