wowo sure been awhile since I wrote anything, so let me catch up on what has been going on here... First off, I did not get surgery on my knees nor my eyes....as scheduled except I ended up in the hospital a week ago sunday as has a terrible ashtma attack...After 24 hours in the hospital I checked myself out,as just figured I had to much to do then to lay around a hospital room..Besides nothing they did really helped much, and I just wanted to get home. I called my dr the next day and come to find out he stopped seeing paTIENTS,AND HAVE NO IDEA WHY. hE SENT A LETTER SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT FINANCE TROUBLES, BUT was hoping to be back and running within a month. This was odd as seen him for nearly 20 years, and he also had 5 other drs working  at the office. John went down right away, and got all my scripts filled before he closed for good....so have 6months worth saved up.... Then within 4 days I was back into the hospital with another attack, and this time did not come home as was just not doing well. Had tpo change eye surgery til May and after I got home this eye dr is retiring at the end of the month so either get surgery on the 10th as well as the 24, or find another dr... Gee!! do not have any idea why they are all quitting on me,but will have surgery on the 10th as well as the 24....I am on oxygen 24 /7 now so this sure has cut down my smokimg, which isnt bad...I was also suppose to start therapy on these torn meniscus which of course the trip to the hospital stopped this right away. As for the lymphedema, well, I did well at the hospital as was in bed the entire time, but now that I am home, well, it is once again swollen...so need to reschedule therapy for this also soon...Poor John was running ragged between home and the hospital, and I knew it was just wearing him out.. so this is good I got to come home yesterday. My sisters so called boyfriend is going to visit his friend in California on the 15-18, so I will be at her home from the 14 til the 19th. My mom will stay the first 2 days, as do not feel like lugging the oxygen tank with me up there...but will do it for the last few days..it is about time someone else helps out a bit...my sis no longer knows me over the phone at all, but in person she still knows me...This is becoming harder as time goes on...John is using more pain pills, but has to admit, he sure fights this dam cancer. It has been 2 years since he was told he had 6-12 months left, so we are enjoying the time we have together. I think he worries about me too much, and of course tries to take care of me...maybe this gives  him some strength to keep going...what ever it is, I dont question it...I have missed all my friends here and have thought of all of you. Do not give up on me, as i will always be here to say hello to all of yiou....it is just so much has been going on here that sometimes time gets away from me... Take care all my friends...love ya all..phyllis
