Hi journal, Well MRI came back nd I have torn meniscus and will have to have surgery... Guess March is surgery for me as will have eyes done and now the back of my legs...They say it is a sports injury, so guess this means no more playing football lol...They say it could be from doing heavy lifting, and this is possible as I do tend to try and pick up heavy things, if they need moving.. Wish I could have both legs and both eyes done at same time, but nope, one at a time, sooooooo it will be drawn out... I think these are both minor surgeries, so hopefully, I can heal fast....Cant afford to be laid up for 2 long.. The dr told me I was an odd case, as usually you get one torn meniscus but here I have both legs torn....I could have told him I had to be odd.... Is it me, or does it seem like people do not stay on here too long?? Seemslike some of my friends are now gone from here... Guess this is all from here...

OOH, sorry about your torn meniscus. That and torn anterior cruciate ligament are more common injuries than you may think. I know a lot of people who have had these surgeries. It is cold here in NY today. -2 degrees. I would love Arizona right now. I know I had some friends that just seem to dissappear. Or some that are not on the DS as much as they used to be. I have been very stressed lately. I do not like my job and want a change. The drive is awful, traffic you know and the public parking is worse. I want a job closer to home. I work 28 hours a week now and make good money. The problem is finding a job closer to home, my salary would be almost cut in half. That is a lot. Even if I worked a full 40 hours, in some cases, I would make the same money or even less. This bums me out because I feel stuck. I have worked there 9 years and like my boss, but need a change. Oh well, enough of my minor problem. I hope things are going as well as they can be for you. I still think of you often and pray for all my friends at the DS. Love and Hugs...Marie
