Hello, Boy I sure have been slack on my writings here.. Lets see, let me catchup on what is going on here.. JOhn is getting weaker, and we had a talk today on how he feels. He says he knows he is doing worse, but he still trys to do things, and still fights this dam cancer. He sleeps alot now and has very little energy to do to much..All I can do, is sit and watch him ...This is very hard..He is losing more weight and I actually went into the boys dept yesterday to get him some underware..His clothing is again becoming baggie on him..Everyday, he asks if I want to go to a store or anywhere, and I try to say No, most of the time.. I need to get behind the wheel again and try driving..Dam I hate to drive..but know I need to start driving again.. With the light rail being put in, the roads are so torn up, and this also mkes me not want to drive..I did get new batteries for my scooter, so can start using this again..Again, there is a problem riding even the scooter, as there are no sidewalks right now, because of the light rail coming in.. they had to rip up the sidewalks right now,but they are working on them now,so it wont be long and sidewalks will be in.. New Years Eve we went to my sisters house to watch her while her boyfriend went to his sisters birthday party. I know she would have loved being there, but guess he talked her out of it. I think he is embarassed to be with her among his family. He did ask me the other day, if his son could move into the house,as he is having finance trouble, and he would be able to do the yard and keep up the pool, so we would not have to hire out on these things. I told him NO, as needed the bedroom, in case she gets worse, and would have to have a nurse brought in...His son has had experience with alzheimers patients, but I do not think him there is going to help too much,as since showers are the hardest thing for her, I sure do not think a man could be the one to help her..besides this, it would be my sister who has to pay for the extra water electric and groceries, and I am not going to have her do this..her boyfriend can mooch, but I wont allow his son to start this... her boyfriend also called me today, and asked if we would come over on tuesday and try to talk sis into having her dog put down.. This is going to be very hard, on me as well as sis.. The dog is old and blind and deaf, and is also having eating troubles.. This dog has been such a sweet dog, and my sister loves him so much, that I worry how this is going to affect her. I wish her boyfriend could take care of this, but he cant.. Hell, he cant do much of anything for my sister anymore.. Last year, I had to put down sis's other dog, and it was terrible. She accepted this with no problem, but it tore me apart.. I think anytime you have to put a pet down is hard...This one she has now, is so sweet and she has had him for about 12 years now..so putting him down is going to be a chore I really do not want to do,but for the dogs sake, it has to be done..Guess I better get off here and wash the kitchen floor. Since they will be working on the light rail in the morning, all water will be shut off most of the day,so I know I cant wash floors in the morning..

I am glad that you are back. I have missed reading your journals and wondered how you and John are. I am sorry to hear that John is getting weaker and loosing weight. You have so much to deal with and now your sister\'s boyfriend wants you to go through the pain of putting a dog down. He is so inconsiderate, doesn\'t he realize that you don\'t need this now. You are very courageous and handling your life better than I would. I have to go for now, but god bless you and John and we will talk later. Love and Big Hugs...Marie
