It sure has been awhile since my last post, but we have had so much going on here. I went over to my sisters house and told her dear boyfriend, that my sister has a right to a Christmas tree...He agreed,so my sis and her caregiver went and got a 6 footer.. Her boyfriend was wild..He wanted nothing more then a 4 footer...He told sis it was too big for the house, so he convinced my sister to have it taken back and get a 4 footer...This she did... I tell you she had plenty of room for the 6 ft tree....I tried telling her this, but you could not make her disagree with her so called boyfriend..Anyways, it is now up and decorated and she is thrilled with the tree... I did go over again and she was home, but she let me clean out part of her laundryroom.. Hubby, took 3 huge loads to the thrift store and we could have gotten maybe another 3 loads out of there, but this was pushing,as I could see my sister was having some trouble giving up some of the junk she had in there.. This took me from noon til nearly 8, so was glad to get what I did out of there..I noticed, she has more clothing on the floor which she took out of the extra bedroom, so it is a never ending job...I tried talking her into giving up a computer table, in order to have another closet built, and she would not give up the table,as she has shoes on it, and says she has no other place for her shoes....Will have to work on this... I had a good best friend in grammer school ,and even through high school, and she found me, and we talked all night on the phone.. We had to make up nearly 38 years of talking..We plan on getting together soon. I was so excited... Actuallyit was 44 years since I really spoke to her, but saw her in a store 38 years ago,but we were only visiting here,as hubby was in the service, and did not live here anymore...We said we would write ,but we never did..Not sure when we can get together, but it will be soon....She sent me a picture over the internet, and I was shocked how old she had gotten.......then I realized I also had gotten older, and time has moved on,taking us with it... Then 2 nights later her sister called me from California, and we talked about 5 hours.... This was such a thrill for me,as had not seen her in 44 years....It was just like old times,chatting the night away on the phone,with them...We still have so much to catch up on, so it will be great to see them again...John has been doing fairly well, but tonight he was not feeling too good. He went to bed early, and got up sick awhile ago.. But it wont stop him from going somewhere tomorrow....He planned on going to the farmers market to sell my dolls tomorrow, but we had rain all day and tomorrow is going to rain also.. I called the people up who ordered dolls and they are willing to wait til the 15th to get the dolls.. Next week we will be in Florida for the week...It will be nice to go there, but I do worry if John becomes ill...I know, been told they have hospitals there, but it is not the same as being home and having family close by.....but he is bound and determined to go on this trip...so we will go...We have friends of 30 years who live there and we always play alot of pinochole when we go.....Of course us wives do not win to often, but we try!!! John is getting very hard to understand when he talks now, but the dr. said this would happen.. He had another test done, and we found out the cancer grew another 1 inch...Not sure where it grew, or if this is a big growth, but John doesnt feel any different, except for his talking. I know it grew in his throat, but the dr had some long name for it.....so it is easier for me just to say his throat.. Well he is up getting sick, so will close for now....
